By using our website and purchasing insurance services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Our Standalone Own-Damage Car Insurance provides coverage for loss or damage to your vehicle caused by accidents, fire, theft, natural calamities, and man-made disasters. It does not include third-party liability, which must be purchased separately as per IRDAI regulations.
To file a claim, you must immediately inform the insurer and submit the required documents such as policy copy, RC, driving license, and FIR (if applicable). Claims will be subject to inspection, verification, and approval by the insurance company.
The insurance does not cover damages arising out of illegal driving (without license/under influence), mechanical or electrical breakdown, normal wear and tear, and damages outside the geographical limits of India.
Personal Accident Cover for the owner-driver is mandatory but not included under Own-Damage cover. It must be purchased separately or bundled with third-party liability insurance.
Only vehicle owners with a valid third-party insurance policy are eligible to purchase Standalone Own-Damage Insurance. The policyholder must ensure correct information is provided during purchase; any misrepresentation may lead to rejection of claims.
Policies are valid for the period mentioned in the schedule. Renewal must be done before expiry to continue uninterrupted coverage. Lapsed policies may require vehicle inspection before renewal.
The insurer’s liability is limited to the Insured Declared Value (IDV) of the vehicle as specified in the policy. Any additional riders or add-ons are subject to extra premium and terms.
All disputes arising under this agreement shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the city where the insurance policy was issued.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
